Ridgefield Park, NJ – July 14, 2015 – Samsung Electronics America today announced the A3 multi-function printer (MFP) MultiXpress 7 (MX7) is available for purchase in the U.S. through select dealers. Features including print speeds up to 60 pages a minute, Samsung’s Smart user interface, Dual-Scan with anti-jamming technology and mobile connectivity and capabilities to make this device essential for today’s office environment and for the office of the future. The MX7 is the newest addition to Samsung’s innovative print portfolio that addresses the evolution to a mobile-focused workflow.

Speed is the cornerstone of this product which prints a page a second, scans four images a second, connects to nearly every mobile product and wakes up from sleep in as little as 12 seconds. This printer delivers a speedy experience while providing sharp and precise printing with various finishing options.

Smarter User Experience (UX) and Advanced Design

The MX7 has the Smart UX, one of the world’s first Android operating system released for printing technology, providing state-of-the-art usability and flexibility for all business users. The Smart UX Center provides an enhanced working environment with the cloud and easy to use document views and edits on any device. The built-in wireless connectivity with active NFC provides a seamless mobile-oriented experience while the Samsung eXtensible Open Architecture (XOA) open platform provides solution flexibility.

The MX7 printer is available in both color and mono series models with a 10.1” Color Touch Panel. Its LCD display screen pivots 90-degrees and makes it easy for users to preview and edit documents with paramount visibility. Users can also pivot the user-friendly Smart UX Center display to get true document views and customize the experience with apps available for download from Samsung’s printer app store.

Increased Productivity with Powerful Performance

The MX7 is the first printer to have a Quad-core CPU processor to guarantee fast and efficient printing tasks from small to heavy workloads. The Dual-Scan Technology provides ultrafast scan speed up to 240 images per minute. It also supports faster in-office connections with an 802.11ac-capable network chip, which is three times faster than the prior 802.11n standard. The MX7 also boasts Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity, giving users “always-on” connectivity to connect and print with ease as soon as they are in proximity to the device.

Reliable and Cost Efficient

The long-lasting supplies, high-durability and increased maximum monthly duty makes this printer a reliable choice for the enterprise. The MX7 offers a big toner cartridge and prolonged drum life. It can hold up to 6,140 sheets with side and bottom High-Capacity Feeders (HCF) while offering various options for productivity such as the 2,250-sheet booklet finisher and 3,250-sheet high-volume finisher, which provide a wide array of consistent printing options. The Samsung Smart Printer Diagnostic System (SPDS) app also provides easy solutions for printing from virtually anywhere.
